Talentia Software Italia s.r.l. is posting for a Frontend Software Developer - Angular to be located in our offices in Marseille.
Part of a small, agile, international and distributed team, working in Scrum to:
- Create a brand new UI application, which is the next gen version of an existing legacy application;
- Refactor and re-architect the application in process, using mainly (but not limited to) Angular 11+ and Typescript;
- Design web interfaces and processes to incorporate data from backend systems ; as this is a hands-on coding role, the engineers are expected to spend their time building the interface as well as designing it;
- Design and implement unit, integration and end-to-end tests for the new functionality under development.
Technical skills:
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript;
- Deep knowledge of Angular best practices and commonly used modules based on work experience;
- Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3;
- Good knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them;
- Excellent knowledge of HTTP, especially REST APIs and WebSocket protocols;
- Solid understanding of testing and code quality:
- unit-testing, including stubbing and mocking;
- functional, integration and end-to-end testing;
- associated code quality metrics;
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills:
- Comfortable working in a fully distributed fashion;
- Comfortable working in English,
- Mentoring and coaching junior UI developers on design patterns and best practices.
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience writing JavaScript/Typescript;
- 3+ years' Angular experience, including strong experience in Angular 8.0+;
- Strong design and UX experience with proven ability to deliver great experience;
- Experience working with Web Services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability;
- Familiar with Javascript build and automation tools, like npm, Jest, SASS/LESS.
Academic Qualifications:
- While there is no strong requirements on academic qualifications, a BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant fields, is a big plus, and a MsC is a big plus.
