Data Privacy Center of Expertise Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Manager to oversee the coordination and implementation of data privacy needs in AXA GO products, projects, and contract management. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong data privacy culture within the team, ensuring measured partnerships with the operational entities, and implementing necessary processes to manage data privacy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
1. Team Management
- Design workload allocation within the team based on their skills and needs with clear objectives to follow the strategic priorities of AXA Group.
- Ensure that privacy needs are met through partnership with the operational entities embedded in AXA GO’s processes.
2. Data Privacy Policies and Governance
- Establish and oversee the implementation of policies on data privacy in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop privacy consent forms, authorization forms, and information notices and materials reflecting current organization and legal practices and requirements.
3. Data Privacy Management and Governance
- Provide guidance and training to all areas and departments on Data Privacy matters.
- Support drafting internal and external data privacy agreements.
- Review and monitor business activities and vendor contracting, ensuring compliant implementation.
4. Control of Data Privacy Regulations and Processes
- Monitor relevant data privacy regulations (GDPR + local regulations).
- Create an environment that promotes compliance with Data Privacy regulations.
5. Interface with Corporate Governance Bodies
- Coordinate with the local Risk, Security, Legal, HR, Physical Security, IT Operations, Finance and Internal Audit teams on DP matters and maintain strong working relationships with them
- Communicate and report to the local data protection authority and other relevant regulators, attend inspections, and handle audit submissions and other requirements.
Your profile:
- +10 years of professional experience
- Data Privacy experience (part of it must be in an IT environment)
- Strong skills in contract negotiation with the ability to draft complex legal documentation in English
- Risk management mindset
- Language skills: English – high level (written, spoken, negotiation)
Nice to have:
- Notions or interest in data privacy in artificial intelligence
- French, German, Spanish, Italian
