RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the capital project delivery team regarding automation and control systems.
- Execute medium to high-level control system projects/assignments in support of project delivery on site.
- Define the requirements for moderately to complex process control systems for capital projects, including participation in the creation/revision and/or review of the appropriate documentation.
- Participate in the long-term strategic development/roadmap of the site's process control systems.
- Provide technical leadership during the control panel payment, factory acceptance tests, site adoption tests, and commissioning activities.
- This position will require working with validated and non-validated systems. The modifications made to the validated system will require working within the change control program.
- Follow the established quality control systems.
- Some trips are necessary for factory acceptance tests and/or equipment startups.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Emerson DeltaV, distributed control system (DCS) is required.
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in developing GAMP control documentation for internal projects as well as reviewing and approving documents provided by the supplier. (User Requirements, Functional Specifications, Software Design Specifications, and Software Test Plans).
- Experience with batch recipe S88, batch recipe development, WinCC is an advantage
- Skills in organization, interpersonal communication, both oral and written.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical environment, including regulatory requirements related to 21 CFR Part 11 and equipment validation of control systems.
Education
- BS or MS in chemical, electrical, control, or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
