Bio-Sourced New Molecules Development

Equilex BV is a private company, founded in 2000, 100 % owned by AJV International SARL (Aix-en-Provence, France). Headquarters are in Schiedam, The netherlands.

Its main activities are intermediates and refinery chemicals (solvents, monomers, ), the marketing and distribution of specialties.

In collaboration with IMBE laboratory at Aix-Marseille University, Equilex BV is developing new products in the field of lubricants, surfactants, cosmetics, inks, rubber and more.

The project focuses on sustainability, utilizing a by-product feedstock that does not compete with the human food supply and has a negative carbon footprint. The development of various New Chemical Entities (NCEs) from this by-product will be carried out, and these products will be evaluated across Equilex’s key activity areas.

The intern will work for 6 months in the Aix-Marseille laboratories, performing organic synthesis, analysis and application tests in order to develop a new range of products.

The monthly remuneration is €1,000.
