Sales Representative Diagnostic Products region Europe (W/M)
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Contract : Full-time permanent contract
- This is a new position located in Illkirch-Graffenstaden (67) - France.
- Position to be filled : as soon as possible.
- This position reports to the EMEA Diagnostic Sales & Product Manager.
THE MAIN MISSIONS OF THE POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
The sales representative is responsible to manage and develop the necessary actions to implement the long-term sales for our core products in diagnostic in the following countries:
- Italy
- Portugal
- Spain
- Greece
- Denmark
- Sweden
- Norway
- Finland
THE MAIN TASKS OF THE POSITION ARE :
Without being limited to :
- Participate in the follow-up of calls for tenders and the constitution of response files.
- Oversee the acquisition and supervision of the use of equipment.
- Work on customer base and turnover development within the assigned territory
- Identify the regional potential through intensive market analysis developing new sales opportunities.
- Develop a proactive approach for the prospection and the long-term sales process of our core, diagnostic products.
- Acquire new customers and manage existing customer relationships within the assigned territory.
- Use the CRM system to contribute to the enhancement of the tool in reporting your sales projects and your field experience.
- Maintain and enrich CRM database.
- Manage marketing leads within a defined time frame.
- Generate business reports, forecasts and sales activities reporting as requested and needed.
- Cooperate and communicate with the Customer service team and all relevant internal departments to maintain the service provided to our customers or distributors at a high level.
- Act in compliance with the corporate policies.
In addition, as part of the Sales team the sales representative participates and suggests regionally focused marketing actions to optimize his sales activity. Travelling is required in Europe and sometimes abroad. This position and detailed assignments or tasks may evolve.
PROFILE:
- Master’s degree in Biology or Biotechnology
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales, account management or inside sales in biotechnology-related business environment would be a strong asset
- Languages: very good English is essential. Fluency in another local language would be desirable.
- Good analytical understanding of the market and its potential development.
- Self-initiative, responsibility, strong team player with high time management skills. Structured and target orientated.
- Very good communication and presentations skills.
