Fincons is looking for a: Senior System Engineer


• Minimum master degree or equivalent

• Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience.


• Knowledge and experience with HW management, racking, cabling, replacement, FW upgrades;

• HW/SW inventory and configuration management;

• Advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon);

• Knowledge and experience with managing Oracle HW;

• Knowledge and advanced experience in Redhat, Windows OS administration of large farms;

• Active Directory (AD) / LDAP and Keycloak Management

• Network Attached Storage (NAS) and distributed file systems;

• Centralized IT security policy management;

• Knowledge and experience in administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;

• Knowledge and experience in administration of Backup & Storage systems (VEEAM, StoreOnce, vSAN, traditional SAN and CEPH);

• Advanced script development and troubleshooting skills (Ansible, Powershell);

• Experience in software compliance monitoring and enforcement;

• Advanced knowledge of OCP platform administration with supporting tools like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;

• Knowledge to support mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti[1]virus and anti-spam;

• Basic knowledge on DB systems, MS SQL, Oracle and Elastic search;

• Knowledge and experience with monitoring and observability systems (configuration, customisation, further development), Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Fluentd, Kibana, Jaeger, NAGIOS and Splunk;

• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills;

• Experience in managing highly available environments and multiple site support;

• Familiar with ITIL/ITIL V3 processes, in particular incident, change, capacity and configuration management


Good knowledge of English is required.


Office: Strasbourg

On-site 3 days per week, 2 days remote.
