Mission:
Fime shareholder is an investment fund. Currently in a strong growth context, the ambition for Fime is to double the turnover through international acquisitions. The Accounting and Consolidation Director reports to the Group CFO, functionally manages the country Accounting Managers, and works closely with the Controlling Director.
ACTIVITIES
Organization and Management
Participate in ad hoc projects as part of Group structuring, in particular:
- Integration of external growth,
- Migration of accounting information systems to a single system,
- Optimization of organization.
Accounting
- Generate monthly management reports,
- Prepare half-yearly and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS,
- Analyze cash flow and cash flow forecasts produced by Group subsidiaries,
- Supervise Group holding company accounting and tax consolidation,
- Adjust to increased reporting requirements.
Communication
- Work closely with statutory auditors, to facilitate their audits, and tax lawyers,
- Regularly informs and communicates major accounting events to your manager.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- You are a graduate of a business school, engineering school or university.
- You have 6 to 8 years' progressive experience in an auditing firm and/or international company.
- You have experience of dealing with American stakeholders: customers, shareholders, and are familiar with IFRS standards.
- In addition, you have extensive experience with French GAAP.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You speak and write English and French every day.
- You use Excel on a daily basis. Knowledge of financial software packages (ERP, BI, treasury software) is an additional asset.
- You are a good listener, and take the time to understand your environment and the company's values and development.
- Your rigor and organizational skills, combined with your autonomy, enable you to occupy a solid position in a Holding function, while developing an operational mindset.
- You are an agile profile, at ease in motion, capable of reacting to ad hoc requests and managing several projects in parallel.
- You develop trusting relationships with cross-functional teams, and communicate smoothly and transparently with your manager and the Controlling Department.
- You develop a certain commitment to relationships, and know how to go beyond their technical skills.
- Last but not least, you have a good sense of adaptability and initiative, enabling you to keep pace with Fime's development, and be at ease with changes in organization and methods.
