Claims Broking Assistant

If you are looking for an entry level position, here at Nexus Claims Management, we are looking for a Claims Broking Assistant to work closely with the Claims Broking Manager, Deputy Head of Claims and wider Claims team, providing a best in class claims service.
Responsibilities:
- Create new claim entries and update records on the relevant systems within SLAs.
- Set reserves, process payments, including reconciliations, and liaise with Finance.
- Review and action claims received, providing feedback to minimise future issues.
- Communicate internally with claims colleagues and other company divisions to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation and maintenance of systems and records.
- Communicate externally with Insurers, Experts (e.g., Adjusters, Solicitors), and TPAs as appropriate.
- Attend meetings and perform general office administrative duties as required.
- Assist other members of the claims team with ad-hoc duties.
- Identify and escalate claims-related issues where necessary, including matters beyond your experience or authority.
Skills:
- Proficiency in both French and English is essential.
- Strong ability to prioritise and effectively manage your own workload.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, with a willingness to learn and challenge the status quo.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Experience:
- Previous insurance experience is desirable but not essential.
- IT literate, with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
