Description
Our team is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer specializing in building cryptocurrency trading algorithms using C#. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and secure trading systems.
We are looking for a dedicated, methodical, and versatile senior software engineer with the experience and passion to solve tough problems with scalable, high-performance code.
We are looking for a teammate who can thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and approaches. You will work in a team with fellow engineers to create highly scalable, distributed services.
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cryptocurrency trading algorithms. You will leverage your expertise in C# to create efficient and reliable solutions that enable seamless trading experiences for our users. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the growth and success of our platform.
Responsibilities
1. Algorithmic Trading Development:
Design, implement, and maintain high-performance cryptocurrency trading algorithms with Quants and Traders. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the API infrastructure.
2. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and system architects, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
3. Optimization:
Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of trading algos. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
4. Security:
Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard the integrity of the trading platform.
Stay informed about the latest industry standards and security trends in the cryptocurrency space.
5. Documentation:
Create comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation for APIs, ensuring ease of use for internal and external developers.
6. Troubleshooting and Support:
Collaborate with other engineers, quants and traders to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the trading infrastructure. Provide technical support as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the trading platform.
Qualifications
- Strong development skills and extremely curious about new technologies
- Experience in building 24/7 or 24/5 market making trading algorithms
- Experience (personal or professional) working with crypto currencies, examples include: trading digital
- assets, using crypto platforms, and transferring coins on blockchain.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency protocols, exchanges, and market data feeds.
- Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Solid experience with API development, including RESTful APIs.
- Extremely curious about new technologies and passionate about this new era.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards while working with sensitive data
- Previous experience working in a financial or fintech industry.
