I am working with a client seeking a Senior Data Engineer.
Location: Paris - 6-month mission
SCO Vision Project
As a Data Engineer, you will report to the Data Science Manager.
Missions
- design, develop, evolve treatment and exposure systems of robust and scalable data to industrialize our solutions which include machine learning and operational research algorithms
- be attentive to the choice of the right tools and architectural diagrams in order to improve the performance of the systems and facilitate their monitoring and maintenance, in a cloud-first approach
- contribute iteratively to projects, conduct code reviews
- Participate in the regular exchanges of our community of forty engineers (data scientists, engineers, devops)
- Presentations, sharing of feedback from conferences, debates on ML and software development issues, etc.
Technical prerequisites
Python, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Airflow, GCP
Required profile
- You have a degree in computer science at least at master’s level, or you have equivalent professional experience.
- After at least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, you have developed expertise on:
- data manipulation with scripts (SQL) and code (Python)
- the construction and operation of data pipelines on infrastructures
- cloud
- the development of APIs
- the use of distributed computing frameworks
- You enjoy exploring new datasets, transforming them, cleaning them and enrich in order to make them usable.
- You have taken part in collaborative development projects, and the quality and simplicity of the code is important to you. In particular, you are used to conducting demanding code reviews and developing automated tests.
- develop the continuous integration and deployment processes implemented in collaboration with DevOps engineers.
- You enjoy working with colleagues from different backgrounds, and it is nice to work with you every day
- You have a fluent command of French, and at least technical English.
Terms of the mission
- Mission to headquarters in Paris
- Teleworking possible 3 days a week
