CT19 are partnering with an innovative biotech who are aiming to make cell therapies accessible to millions of patients through their novel technology. Since they were founded in 2018, they have raised over €74 million and grown to a team of more than 160 employees.


You will be working within a new team that is focused on designing and developing complex, bespoke systems for customers, working at the intersection of technical engineering and biology. These systems encompass various components including fluidics, optics and electromechanics, so we are ideally looking for someone who has been in a Mechatronics/Systems engineer role working on similar technologies.


Your responsibilities include:


Prototyping and Design:

  • Design and construct parts and assemblies (CAD; component dimensioning).
  • Develop and maintain test benches and prototypes in collaboration with external partners.
  • Write technical specifications, test plans, and reports.

Support and Expertise:

  • Provide technical insights to Product Managers and the Quality Team for investigating issues with existing system
  • Serve as the main contact for external engineering partners on mechatronics topics.


Testing and Feedback:

  • Organize and conduct system tests with internal biology teams.
  • Lead the transfer of small-scale systems to external partners for pre-series industrialization.


Future Development:

  • Identify tools and technologies to enhance future systems.
  • Build a network of engineering partners and rapid prototype manufacturers to support long-term goals.
