Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters' Software Métier department is responsible for the development and integration of embedded software, implementing safety critical functionalities. The team is involved in the development of in house solutions and is supporting the development of products developed by other entities, ensuring that the development processes follow the applicable guidelines (eg ED-12 / DO-178) for certification/qualification.

Your challenges
You will join one of our development teams whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Gather, analyse and extract requirements from stakeholder needs or function requirements
  • Write software requirements in accordance with quality criteria, avoiding over- and under- specification - manage specificities of interface requirements
  • Develop software design
  • Perform the corresponding coding and integration activities
  • Conduct the verification activities and prepare test cases and procedures

Your profile
One key criteria is that we are looking for team players, with the capacity and willingness to support any phase of the projects.

Furthermore, you have following skills and experience:
University degree (Master/Diploma) in computer science, electronics or a related discipline
Experience in embedded software development (language: C, Ada, etc.)
Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g. SCRUM)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German is benifitial

Additional related experience and skills, easing your integration in our department practices, would also be appreciated. This includes for example: Know-how in avionic systems, automated testing, experience in scripting or testing etc.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.
