The Engineering department is looking for a System Engineer Accessibility Train for the Very High-Speed Trains range.Missions:
The system engineer is the technical representative and guarantor of the performance and operation of his or her systems.
You contribute to the train's architecture and its operating modes according to a compromise between customer needs, technical solutions, cost, and time.
The System Engineer Accessibility is responsible for the dimensioning and development of equipment related to train access, such as access doors, internal doors, and all systems related to wheelchair user accessibility.
Responsibilities:
You will work in a rich and innovative technical context within passionate and multidisciplinary teams. Drawing on your previous experiences, you have knowledge of engineering disciplines and associated processes.
Your missions in the allocated domains will be to:
Define the architecture in the train, operating modes, and functions according to internal and external requirements.
Manage requirements from Business, Standards, Safety documents, and customer specifications throughout the train's life.
Dimension systems and equipment to ensure performance achievement.
Draft specifications for subsystems and internally or externally developed equipment.
Conduct FMEAs with the train's Safety and Reliability teams.
Coordinate, ensure, and guarantee system coherence and compatibility between suppliers, internal trades for interfaces, and expected performance.
Collaborate with specialists and experts from transversal disciplines.
Maintain and ensure applicable technical references and configurations.
Draft documentation for the customer and, upon request, participate in technical reviews with the customer.
Validation & Verification Activities:
Draft train-level test specifications and ensure the development and integration of functions.
Define and conduct functional and performance verifications in collaboration with the trades and validation teams on the bench or on the train delivered to the customer.
Ensure the development and integration of the function at the train level.During the train commissioning phase:
Resolve anomalies and technical issues.
Quality / Costs / Deadlines & Reporting Monitoring:
Ensure and oversee the technical development progress and support the project team in risk management, changes, and optimizations.
Provide feedback to implement on the reference solution.
Profile:
Engineering background with general or electromechanical technical skills.
Previous experience in the industry, railway sector would be a plus.
Besides technical aspects, you have the ability to work in a team on complex projects with strong calendar constraints.
Curious, dynamic, and transparent in communication with colleagues and management.
Analytical and synthesis skills. Your English proficiency allows you to communicate independently.
