Job Description
SCOR SE is currently looking for a professional to join their team as a Treaty P&C Lines Reinsurance Underwriter. In this role, you will be responsible for producing, negotiating, underwriting, and managing Treaty P&C Lines reinsurance business for the France & Belux Market Unit.
- Contribute to the development and quality of the portfolio in alignment with the underwriting policy
- Build and maintain client and broker relationships
Reporting to the Head of France-Belux, your key responsibilities will include:
- Underwriting, building, and maintaining a profitable portfolio according to the Treaty underwriting guidelines
- Marketing the Treaty P&C capabilities, products, and services to brokers and ceding companies
- Regular reporting on accounts, visits, and marketing activities
- Ensuring administrative data completeness and supervising the administration of the OMEGA back-office tool
- Pricing with the in-house Pricing Tool (xAct) within the delegated authority
Responsibilities
Main Activities
- Underwrite Treaty P&C Lines according to the guidelines and apply appropriate terms and conditions
- Identify new business targets and develop a profitable portfolio for SCOR P&C
- Build and maintain relationships with ceding companies and reinsurance brokers
- Visit clients regularly
- Promote SCOR to customers using communication and marketing products
- Analyze the Treaty portfolio for profitability
- Manage data in information systems for accurate risk representation
- Coordinate with actuarial and claims teams
- Participate in the underwriting plan
- Design, control, and sign Treaty wordings
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3/4 years in Reinsurance or Insurance Companies with decision-making underwriting experience
