Purpose

Help create and maintain a high-achieving organization culture by delivering programs that reward and recognize key
employee capabilities, skills, behaviors, experience and performance, and ensure that reward systems are market relevant, fair and cost-effective, and that employee benefits are inclusive, competitive, and cost effective.

Context

AXA GROUP OPERATIONS has engaged a multi-year's transformation journey to accelerate AXA's transformation towards an innovative tech/data-led company requiring:
- To further harmonize and simplify our Operating Model and our ways of working
- To foster our cultural transformation towards Customer First, becoming a true partner for the Operating

The challenge is to develop and to shape a new global Practice within a highly federated and constant evolving environment and positively impact the Performance & Reward maturity of Group Operations

  1. Identify requirements and develop strategy on Performance & Reward
    - Lead external compensation benchmarking exercises regarding strategic and financial performance for overall
    reward and individual package elements.
    - Develop proposals for market positioning and overall levels for constituent parts of the reward package.
    - Ensure that reward plans are linked and supportive of overall reward strategy and other people activity such as
    performance management, employee engagement.
    - Act as product champion to stakeholders across the HR function and within the business, building awareness and
    adoption of relevant processes, incorporating local business needs and regulatory requirements as appropriate.
  2. Ensure alignment with AXA Group & external markets
    - Maintain expert specialist knowledge by keeping abreast of published materials, competitor practice, external
    market developments and trends and legislative and regulatory developments and recommend appropriate
    changes to the structure of affected programs.
    - Ensure that reward, recognition and benefits plans are in full alignment with AXA Group Standards and Policies.
    - Ensure that reward, recognition packages are non-discriminatory and actively encourage inclusivity in the
    workforce.
    - Provide robust data and outline impacts and risks to support union/staff negotiations.
  3. Implement the year-end processes practice
    - Ensure effective implementation of the year-end processes (Performance, Remuneration, Promotions and People
    Segmentation) including communications, systems support, reporting and problem resolution.
    - Establish and maintain close working relationships with HR teams to ensure business managers are provided with
    timely strategic advice for performance management, compensation and benefits.
    - Continually assess costs and benefits of reward and recognition package ensuring value for money and recommend
    change as appropriate.
    - Gather feedback from employees and managers to feed into continuous improvement activity.
  4. Communication and performance culture
    - Interpret and advise on policy and act as Subject Matter Expert to the relevant businesses.
    - Develop communications to support the roll-out of annual programs that reinforce overall reward philosophy and
    key messages.
    - Challenge managers to adopt performance-driven culture underpinned by performance management capability.
    - Role-model effective performance management and creation of a performance culture in function/with colleagues.
  5. Executive reward & individual packages
    - Collect and prepare data, information and recommendations for the Remuneration Committees on reward matters.
    - Develop and manage tailored reward packages for individuals; including leadership-level individuals.
    - Manage executive level pay reviews.
  6. International mobility
    - Implement, support and advise HR and Business teams on international and expatriate remuneration policies.
Your Profile

PROFILE

  • Graduate degree with preferably additional post graduate qualification in human resources, tax, accounting of other
    business-related discipline (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 10-years proven experience of Performance and Reward practice in a complex global matrix business;
    ideally in a Tech and Data led Major Company
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and strong customer orientation
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret and apply market data and trends
  • Ability to work in a virtual set-up and influence HR and Business teams
  • Ability to apply critical analysis and judgment when reviewing activities; ability to recommend creative and feasible
    solutions
  • Strong business acumen, able to link business strategy to people practices
  • Proficiency in English
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are mandatory
