R&D controlling supervisor - 6 months contract - all genders

The R&D Finance team is the business partner for the Global Clinical R&D team and leads the performance monitoring and budget process for this function.

We are looking for a R&D Controlling Supervisor (all genders) for a 6-7 month mission who will report to the CFO R&D.

This position will be located in France, in Marcy l'Etoile (69)

what will be your responsabilities?:

  • Consolidation and Reporting of Global R&D Clinic, including dashboard reporting and management reviews.
  • Budget control via expenditure authorization (OPEX & CAPEX) and monitoring of commitments. Ensure that the financial rules and procedures are followed by the business and are in line with those of the group.
  • Collection, consolidation and analysis of financial data relating to your scope (monthly dashboard in particular), understanding and control of the evolution of costs. Production of any necessary ad-hoc reporting to support R&D management in decision making.
  • Responsible for the construction of the annual budget (for responsible scope) in the envelope and planning defined at Corporate level, coordination of the process and help of managers in the budget process.
  • Consolidate the Global R&D budget and assist with the preparation of the budget presentation
  • Support the R&D project teams with reporting and analysis of projects (resources and expenditures) using the EXPLOR tool
  • Business plan support (full P&L) for significant development projects within the scope of responsibility, working with R&D, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
  • Participation in Global Finance initiatives
  • Manage 2 people

Overall, establish quality information and a means of collaboration with Business and Finance managers to better understand the data and provide a real added value on the financial information produced.

Who are you?

  • Graduated from a business school (Finance/Controlling/Audit/Management) or a University degree with significant experience and exposure in Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience in management control, financial analysis
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Ability to prepare and present data in a clear and transparent manner
  • Fluent English
