We are looking for a VMWare Senior Consultant (Certifications MCSA, CCNA, DCD) to join our teams working on one of our renowned client's facility based in Paris, France.
Permanent and on-site position (CDI contract)
-P4: 6+ years of industry experience

-Cloud Management and Automation 2024
-The VMware Certified Professional - Cloud Management and Automation 2024 (VCP-CMA 2024) certification exam validates candidates' ability to install, configure, administer, and operate VMware Aria Automation to support the self-service and automated provisioning of services into Private, Public and Multi-Cloud environments. Job-roles associated with this certification include cloud administrators, cloud architects, and consultants.
-As a VCF Senior Consultant, you will acquire intimate knowledge of the customer's environment and use your in-depth knowledge of VMware's Cloud portfolio to work with customers on successfully delivering VCF Implementations. Your goal is to work directly with the customer and your leadership team to guide the customer on their journey to successfully adopt VCF for their end users.
-This is a consulting position, where you will be intensively using technical, architectural, business, and soft skills.
-You will support the Architect in gathering and analysing customer technical requirements and guide them on best-practice configurations for cloud infrastructure.
-You will be expected to take ownership of customer technical implementation and take responsibility for customer deliverables which may include workbooks and test plans.
-You will work directly with customers to transfer your knowledge of their environment, either by partnering with key customer stakeholders, or by presenting to small groups.
-You will execute test plans to validate deployment processes aligned to customer use-cases, and guide customers on best-practice operational procedures to increase user adoption and consumption.
-In addition to end-to-end technical governance of your project, you will also identify and raise commercial, cost, schedule, operational and scope risks, and work with the architect and PM to identify possible mitigation(s).
-You will manage customer expectations and work with the Architect and Project Managers to contribute to project planning where necessary.
-You will partner closely with the Architect to help manage customer and internal escalations; and collaborate with VMware support and engineering teams as needed to resolve product and customer issues.
-You will interact with various customers' teams, from technical engineers and system administrators to business leaders and executives.
-You will communicate effectively to all audiences—this is key to the success of your projects.
-You will maintain current and deep technical knowledge of the VMware Cloud Foundation platform including the Aria Management Suite.
-You will have solid background in general Enterprise IT storage and platform solutions.
-Advanced Customer Architecture, Advanced Design, Pilot, Advanced Implementation Planning, Advanced Implementation/Configuration, Intermediate Troubleshooting.

" Provides specialist guidance on high-level design when required (30%). Delivers hands on implementation and integration of VMware technology in their domain (70%). Work stream lead on L2 and L3 projects. Leads single resource projects. Provides technical input to Solution Architects and SBMs' in the pre-sales stage of an opportunity by providing accurate effort estimation in their specialist area. Displays commercial awareness by identifying future services opportunity within a project. Understands the end-to-end project plan, including all work streams. May act as technical lead on project streams or consulting engagements. Accountable for individual deliverables. Contributes in meetings and at times may present findings. Recognizes when change requests are required. Regularly reviews work of other team members. Actively demonstrates commercial awareness and stays within the scope of the contracted work. Has a good understanding of Change Management processes and can raise change requests when required and make accurate impact assessments in specialist area. Successfully executes and closes-down change requests and rollback plans when required. Is able to demonstrate basic value management by governing customer requirements to balance satisfied business needs and personal time available on a project as agreed in the statement of works.
