Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate with a background in M&A and a strong emphasis on TMT to join our growing team. As an Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior team members in executing M&A transactions, conducting industry research, financial analysis, and contributing to client presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including conducting due diligence, financial modelling, and valuation analysis.
- Conduct market research and industry analysis, particularly within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.
- Prepare detailed presentations and reports for clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes and ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities within the TMT sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance, preferably with exposure to TMT transactions.
- Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Fluent in French and English, with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
