Objectif principal du poste :Sous la supervision du Head of Quantitative Underwriting Support, lecandidat retenu assistera à la tarification des traités de réassurance Property& Casualty (P&C) .
Contexte du rôle :Le département Quantitative Underwriting Support (QUS) fournit unetarification technique aux souscripteurs de l'unité P&C. Ce rôle au sein del'équipe QUS se situera à Paris aux côtés l'équipe locale de souscription. Lerôle inclura une exposition à un grand éventail de lignes d'activités et seconcentrera sur les périodes de renouvellement.
Principalesresponsabilités :Tarification des traités de réassurance en collaboration avec les souscripteurs
Développement de relations de travail solides avec l'équipe de souscription
Perfectionnement continue des processus existants pour améliorer l'efficacité, la précision et la transparence
Support ad hoc pour les équipes actuarielles et de souscription au sens large si nécessaire
Relations clés :Membres de l'équipe QUS
Souscripteurs de l'équipe P&C de Paris
Membres des équipes actuarielles et de souscription au sens large
Qualifications :Le candidat retenu remplira les conditions suivantes:
Excellentes compétences académiques de nature technique ou mathématique
Formation actuaire terminée ou presque d'un organisme reconnu (Institut des Actuaires / IFoA / DAV / etc.)
Une expérience en assurance est essentielle ; une expérience en tarification de réassurance serait très bénéfique mais n'est pas obligatoire
Excellentes compétences en Excel. Des compétences en langage de programmation tel que VBA, R, Python ou C++ seraient bénéfiques mais ne sont pas obligatoires
Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
Bonnes compétences en communication ; capacité de travailler efficacement avec des personnes de tous les domaines de l'entreprise mais également de travailler de manière indépendante
Bonne adéquation à la culturel de l'équipe, celle-ci étant l'ouverture au défi, la disposition à contribuer et l'accessibilité
Candidat :Le candidat retenu pour ce rôle sera un actuaire qualifiéou presque, avec de l'expérience en assurance générale et idéalement enréassurance. Basé à Paris aux côtés de l'équipe de souscription P&C, lecandidat travaillera également avec l'équipe QUS à Londres et à Cologne,relevant du Head of QUS à Londres. Le candidat sera un bon communicateur prêt àtravailler de manière indépendante tout en établissant des relations au sein etentre les sites.

Main Purpose of the Role
l;">Reporting tothe Head of Quantitative Underwriting Support, the successful candidate willassist with pricing of P&C reinsurance treaties.
Context of the Role
QuantitativeUnderwriting Support (QUS) provides technical pricing to underwriters acrossthe P&C International unit. This role is within QUS but will sit withP&C International underwriters in Paris. The role will include exposureacross a range of lines of business and focusses on key renewal dates.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing of reinsurance treaties in collaboration with underwriters
Developing strong working relationships with the underwriters
Continual improvement of existing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency
Ad hoc support for the wider Actuarial and Underwriting Teams as required
Key Relationships:
Members of QUS team
Gen Re underwriters in the Paris P&C team
Members of the wider actuarial and underwriting teams across Gen Re
Requirements or Key Advantages
The successful candidate will fulfil the following requirements:
Excellent academic background of a technical or mathematical nature
Completed or nearly completed actuarial training from a recognised body (Institut des Actuaries / IFoA / DAV /etc.)
Experience with insurance is essential; experience with reinsurance pricing would be very beneficial but is not required
Excellent Excel skills. Experience with a programming language such as VBA, R, Python, or C++ would be beneficial but is not required
Fluent in French and English
Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people from all areas of the business but also able to work independently
Cultural fit for the team being open to challenge, willing to pitch in, and approachable
Additional Information
Thesuccessful candidate for this role will be either a qualified ornearly-qualified actuary, with experience in general insurance and ideallyreinsurance.
Based with the P&C underwriters in Paris, the candidate will alsowork with the QUS team in London and Cologne, reporting to the head of QUS inLondon.
The candidate will be a good communicator willing to work independentlywhile building relationships within and between locations.Closing Date
