Main tasks :
During the project execution on site, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for the performance of the following tasks (list not exhaustive):
- Preparation and issuance of kick-off Minutes of Meeting (MoM) with Construction Contractors
- Manage the administration of the Construction Contracts, supervise the filing of the various
correspondence as requested by Contract Manager / Project Manager
- Analyze and check the contractual validity of all the justifying documents provided by the
works or claims,
- Negotiate Construction Contractors'requests for compensation of extra costs presumably
and settle the claims,
- Prepare the amendments/Variations to the Construction Contracts for Contract Manager /
- Preparation and update on a weekly basis of the Variations Log for all Construction Contractors
- Prepare any Notices of Default (Letters) for misperformance or non-performance of the works
- Notify the Construction Contractors of the application of the Liquidated Damages (LDs), when
- Review the pro-forma invoices and allow their formal issuance to COMPANY accounting
payment milestones
- Preparation and update on a weekly basis of the invoices Log for all Construction Contractors
- Prepare MoMs for the various meetings under the scope of responsibilities of Contract
- Administrative and financial closure of the Construction Contracts when the Provisional
- Store the Contract administration documents in the specific and dedicated area of the project
Required:
- Solid and confirmed experience on a similar role in a SITE construction, within an international
- Familiar with Construction Contracts (Civil Works, Mechanical, E&I, etc...) and able to
- Proven and extensive experience in negotiating variations and claims with Construction
- Familiar with project team work and high skills in communication (verbally and in writing)
- Self-confident, strong interpersonal skills, good sense of priorities, adaptable, organized and
- Preferrably engineering degree + extensive experience in contract administration (more than 5
- Fluent in French and English (verbally and in writing)
