NES Fircroft are delighted to be working with a key EPC partner who are looking to add a Package Engineer (Fired Equipment) to their team working from their offices in La Defense, Paris.

The role will be a contract based position for an initial 12 month duration with excellent potential to extend well beyond. The role will be support a variety of major projects across LNG and Clean Energy.

Position will be to work in Paris Monday – Friday and will be based on a day rate. The rate is negotiable depending on experience.

About role

Depending on the phases of the projects, the SERVICE PROVIDER will carry out the following tasks:
  • the drafting of specifications (requisitions) for calls for tenders for equipment,
  • clarifications, evaluations and technical comparisons of suppliers' offers,
  • the drafting of requisitions for orders,
  • Follow-up of salespeople (technical meetings, comments on plans, etc.),
  • participation in tests at vendors
The Equipment concerned by this Service is Equipment subject to flame/combustion

Competencies Required

The studies at the expense of the SERVICE PROVIDER require the following skills:
  • Mastery of the specificities of requisition processes (establishment of technical specifications, technical evaluations of supplier offers, detailed engineering follow-up and review of supplier plans)
  • Mastery of the know-how of equipment packages such as:
o            Equipment subject to flame/combustion such as: boilers, flares, incinerators, smoke heat recovery (steam generator), smoke treatments, CO2 capture... etc
  • Mastery of applicable codes (API, AISC, ASME, etc.).
  • It will be essential to follow the project rules, the Best Practices and the Quality Assurance procedures applicable to this project, in particular with regard to:
  • Requisition process and establishment of associated deliverables
