Candidate Profile

Graduate engineer or equivalent with at least 15 years' mainly operational experience in the hydropower sector with at least significant experience in an operations management position (operations manager, operations director, etc.).
Ability to maintain good communication and influence with a wide range of stakeholders in a constantly changing environment and an expanding portfolio of assets.

Activities

During project development phases, working closely with key contacts:
  • Define, develop or revise and comment on O&M concepts issued internally or proposed by consultancies or JVs.
  • Supporting and commenting on local content studies and strategies with the relevant parties in the project's local authorities.
  • Interface closely with commercial developers to review and critique partner plans and costs.
  • Lead or comment on technical findings of pre-FEED or FEED studies.
  • Lead and/or comment on maintainability studies and plans proposed by engineering offices, OneTech entities or local administrations.
  • Carrying out missions or audits on request.
  • Drafting key deliverables and TTE choices within the Projects team.
  • Carry out project O&M audits on request.

During the start-up and operational phase, be the OneTech interface for asset management to support performance review, operating committees and liaise with OneTech experts to answer any questions relating to the topics covered.

• Be a key player in the development of TTE's future operational strategy by sharing your knowledge and integrating with other TTE business units.

Context & Environment

As part of the ONE TECH Business Line, a pillar of the Company's transformation, you will join the unit responsible for defining and optimising the operation and maintenance of new hydroelectric projects. The scope of the post covers the entire development cycle right through to operation: preliminary studies, development phases, project and operations. You will define and guarantee O&M strategies for projects and assets to ensure the competitiveness of TotalEnergies' portfolio, supervise and approve O&M-related studies and key choices proposed by project teams or contractors. The role aims to develop and strengthen expertise and skills in the field of hydroelectric plant operations in order to contribute to building the company's rapidly growing portfolio of multi-energy assets.
