Activities
Objective: discover and learn the job of Key Account Manager and high-level negotiation alongside an experienced team.
Tasks and activities :
- monitoring, steering and analyzing results by brand in order to develop sales in line with the key account
- coordination with the marketing department for online and offline promotional operations, new product launches, organization of customer events, merchandising...)
- feed customer portals for product creation and reporting
- competitive intelligence (promotions, new products, prices, etc.)
- analysis of our price positioning by brand
- help with preparation for retailer meetings and business reviews
- search for new growth opportunities
- improve department operations by putting forward innovative suggestions
- participation in departmental events (team meetings, annual convention, etc.)

Reporting to the head of the key account team, the work-study placement will be in the mass distribution department, which operates in 3 markets: food and DIY supermarkets, car centers and e-commerce. Products marketed include lubricants for light vehicles, Adblue® and specialty products (gearbox oil, brake fluid, 2-wheel lubricant, motorcycle oil, etc.) under the TotalEnergies and ELF brands. The company is the market leader with its TotalEnergies and ELF brands, and faces strong competition from private labels, oil companies and lubricants manufacturers.
