On behalf of a major EPC company, I am looking for Electrical Material Specialist to join the team in Paris on a long term scope of work

Role:
The selected candidate will be assigned to one or more electrical equipment requisitions (such as HV Gas Insulated Switchgear, MV Switchgear, LV Switchboards, LV Distribution Boards, Transformers, UPS, Electrical Control System (ECS), Cables…) or to the follow-up of the electrical materials part of a package / mechanical requisition (such as Gas or Steam Turbine Generators, Diesel Generators, large pumps & compressors driven by electric motors (for few kW to tens of MW and either direct on line or through variable speed drive), HVAC…)

Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical equipment design and installation in O&G
  • Experience in technical follow-up of a VENDOR including reporting (ability to synthesis), VENDOR planning analysis with identification of milestones, VENDOR progress follow-up, ability to anticipate remediation in case of delays (from both parties ,VENDOR and CONTRACTOR)
  • Knowledge of engineering workflow
  • Knowledge of standards IEC rules, IECEx and/or ATEX certification schemes
  • Fluent English (writing of technical documents/ minute of meeting, interface with partners/client, verbal communication through audio conference meetings)
