As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will ensure the success of our most strategic IT projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for managing the most complex IT projects from conception to delivery. You will work closely with the development team, designers, product managers, and business managers to successfully complete each project. Your role will require deep technical expertise and solid project management experience to carry out complex end-to-end initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

Planning and Monitoring of IT Projects

Defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables of high-stakes technical projects.
Writing detailed technical specifications for developers.
Monitoring project progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Proactively identifying potential risks and obstacles.
Implementing rigorous testing processes to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and defined specifications.
Maintaining complete and up-to-date project documentation.

Technical Coordination

Establishing smooth and regular communication on project progress among developers, designers, and product managers.
Collaborating with software architects and backend and frontend teams to discuss strategic technical decisions.
Participating in code reviews and architecture discussions to ensure the quality and performance of solutions.

Continuous Improvement

Analyzing existing processes and proposing improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
Implementing best practices and standards for project management and software development.
Keeping up with technological advancements to integrate innovative solutions, particularly in AI and machine learning.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Degree in computer science, engineering, project management, or a similar field.
Over 5 years of experience in managing IT projects in a startup environment and/or on high-traffic websites.

Skills

Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of software development.
Mastery of project management methodologies.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar software.
Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Aptitude to lead multidisciplinary teams and motivate team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving startup environment.
Commitment to delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
