Role: RUN Security Validation Engineer

Contract Length: 12 months (renewable for 2 years)
Context of the Mission:
Join the operational security team within the network department of our information systems division. As the last line of defense for approving or rejecting requests from various departments, your role is critical in ensuring the integrity and security of our network infrastructure. If you have a knack for providing reasoned technical solutions with a touch of common sense, we want you on our team.
In this role, you'll interface with diverse departments, providing technical validation for a range of requests such as administrator account creation, SSL certificate implementation, firewall rule establishment, flow openings, and application referencing. All requests are processed through ServiceNow, and your expertise in networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity will be instrumental in delivering efficient and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- and navigate the workings of the AD system.
- technical justifications for request approvals or refusals, leveraging your experience and expertise.
