We are currently looking for a talented and ambitious Project Manager to join the Vallourec Digital & Information System Division (VDIS), our Global Information System Departement.
A passionate and multicultural team of 300 people spread out over 8 countries (France, UK, Brazil, China, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia & the US) is working on over 250 different worldwide projects.
As a Project Manager you will be working on global and strategic projects (Finance, HR, CRM...). You will be in charge of leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
As a PM at Vallourec you will :
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify and secure necessary resources for project execution.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, performance and adjust as necessary.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Manage project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members on project management principles and practices.
Skills required :
- At least 5 years of proven experience managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with an excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Speaking English fluently is necessary.
- Having a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
