Position Overview
Global VP of Product and Engineering
We are seeking a highly experienced Global VP of Product and Engineering for a leading software multinational headquartered in Paris, France.
Our client is a global technology company that provides cutting-edge software solutions to industries like Automotive, Aerospace, Manufacturing, and Energy. Their tools focus on virtual optimization and simulation, enabling companies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and achieve sustainability goals.
With a workforce of over 12,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding 4 billion USD, this is a pivotal leadership role within a thriving global organization.
Your Mission
As the Global VP of Product and Engineering, you will:
- Lead a global team of 250 professionals across France, Germany, the US, and India.
- Report directly to the General Manager of the Software Division (based in the US).
- Direct management of the Global Head of SW Engineering (France) and Global Head of Product (Germany).
- Drive the alignment of products and features with rapidly evolving market needs.
- Act as a business partner by staying ahead of industry trends, including software delivery models like SaaS, On-premise, and emerging technologies.
- Play a crucial role in adapting solutions to meet changing client demands, particularly within Automotive and Manufacturing industries.
Your Profile
To excel in this role, you will need:
- 15+ years of experience leading large, global engineering teams within a corporate environment.
- A deep understanding of the Engineering Software industry, including technologies such as CAE, CAD, CAM, FEA, PLM, MES, and related tools.
- Proven expertise in market trends, business models, and the strategic challenges of the software industry.
- A global mindset, with experience navigating large, international organizations.
- The ability to adapt quickly to global market changes and position the company at the forefront of technology.
Position Details
- Contract: Permanent
- Package: Competitive base salary + variable bonus + C-Level benefits (including Executive Assistant, etc.).
- Location:
Preferred: Paris (France) – Global HQ
Other possibilities: Lyon (France) or Stuttgart (Germany)
Priority will be given to candidates based in Paris or willing to relocate.
Travel: Full availability for global business trips.
