About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior In-House Expert Consultant specializing in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) to join our team. This pivotal role involves leading a global SAP S/4 HANA transformation project from SAP ECC. The candidate will strengthen our SAP SD team, playing a crucial role in standardizing processes, advising on IT matters, and defining the project template for our global operations, with the first release/go-live planned for November 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SCM projects focusing on Order Management (SAP SD) and advise on IT matters aligned with the target architecture.
- Strengthen the SAP SD team for the global SAP S/4 HANA transformation and design enterprise solutions while adhering to the governance model.
- Customize applications, conduct functional testing, and support integration and user acceptance tests.
- Develop IT concepts for the development team and assist in application selection.
- Manage external service providers and support SAP logistics applications and interfaces.
- Collaborate with internal teams in an international environment, contributing to Level 2 and 3 support (up to 20% of the role).
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant consulting experience in SAP logistics, particularly SAP SD, with knowledge of S/4 HANA.
- In-depth expertise in Sales & Distribution, cross-module integration, and end-to-end process knowledge (e.g., quote to cash).
- Proven experience in process design and implementation in SAP ECC and ideally S/4 HANA.
- Strong IT project management skills, with a team-oriented, analytical mindset and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- 8+ years of deep SAP SD expertise (end-to-end).
- Strong knowledge of both ECC and SAP S/4 HANA platforms, with experience in SAP ECC to S/4 transformation projects.
- Ability to propose innovative project approaches and solutions.
