As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain an insight into a variety of activities, providing support to the Legal and Compliance department in their day-to-day tasks and controls, and contributing to current compliance-related projects.
This opportunity is a full-time internship contract of up to six months.
ABOUT THE JOB l What will you do?
As a Compliance Trainee, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Provide support for day-to-day compliance tasks related to anti-money laundering (AML), counter terrorist financing (CTF) and sanctions
- Contribute to the controlling of the AML/CTF and sanctions-related activities and reporting
- Assist with compliance due diligence, controls and ad-hoc tasks
- Contribute to the update of internal records
- Participate in the implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Support the Compliance team on a variety of projects
ABOUT YOU l What’s your background?
- You are enrolled or recently graduated with a master’s degree in Law, Business Management, Economics or similar
- You have a good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new IT programmes
- You are able to handle confidential and sensitive issues
- You have some knowledge of or are interested in compliance, regulatory or legal matters
WHAT WE EXPECT l What are your skills?
- A precise and accurate working style with an eye for detail
- A good working knowledge of English
- Additional knowledge of German, French and/or Luxembourgish is advantageous
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- You are a proactive and reliable team player
