Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our client's IT Operations Center. In this role, you will provide critical expertise in LAN/WAN networks and information security, working to enhance the security of the group's office network. Your responsibilities will include analyzing both functional needs and the required service levels to meet ISS standards. Key projects involve upgrading Cisco core networks, migrating to new Palo Alto devices, and leading a large-scale SD WAN migration to ensure the network's resilience and security.
Responsibilities:
- Draft detailed technical architecture documents, including Low-Level Design (LLD).
- Create and maintain comprehensive operation and transition documentation for RUN (TTO/EIS – Entry into Service).
- Develop and update architecture diagrams and rack layouts to reflect current configurations.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date entries in the CMDB and monitor ongoing changes.
- Configure and deploy Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring optimal security across the network.
- Participate in the implementation and management of SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network security solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex network and security issues.
- Continuously monitor and optimize network performance, addressing any vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
