The Contractor (you) will be responsible for: - Developing, maintaining, and implementing project-specific regulatory compliance procedures. - Providing appropriate reporting to both the project management team and the client. - Reviewing national regulations identified by the legal advisor, informing the project team of the applicable regulations at each phase, and providing clarification when needed. - Ensuring that all regulatory compliance documentation is properly maintained and available. - Creating and maintaining a comprehensive permits register. - Implementing a CE/UKCA marking strategy and supporting the project regarding applicable EU/UK directives (PED/PE(S)R, ATEX, Machinery Directive, etc.). - Adapting workflows and cascading requirements to suppliers and subcontractors. - Managing the contract with the Notified Body (DNV), including execution and follow-up. - Coordinating workflows between DNV and internal technical disciplines. - Ensuring all required compliance activities are performed by subcontractors and vendors, coordinating efforts with DNV. - Being the single point of contact for the DNV contract. - Ensuring successful contract execution and preparing necessary annexes when extending the contract. - Overseeing commercial and contractual closure of the DNV engagement. - Ensuring issuance of UKCA certificates by DNV, factory declarations of conformity, and any other compliance documentation required until final client handover. - Ensuring all third-party exchanges are timely and of high quality, cascading requirements down to suppliers and subcontractors as needed. - Acting as the focal point internally and externally for all the above activities. Reference Documentation Provided by Client - Regulatory Compliance Plan - UKCA Marking Plan - Any relevant correspondence linked to the regulatory compliance scope- Engineering degree or equivalent - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in onshore Oil & Gas or renewable energy projects - Proven experience with Notified Bodies (NoBo/CAB), such as DNV, Bureau Veritas, SGS, etc. - Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, including PED (PE(S)R), Machinery Directive, ATEX - Strong knowledge of Module G certification (PED / PE(S)R) - Practical experience applying EU/UK directives in industrial project execution - Solid communication and coordination skills with third parties, local authorities, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams - Understanding of systems, packages, construction philosophy, and testing - Knowledge of technical safety is an advantage - Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations is a plus - Team player with a collaborative mindset across engineering, procurement, inspection, construction, and commissioning functions - Analytical and organized, capable of designing and implementing new procedures - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
