RP International have partnered with an extremely successful worldwide Retail outlet to shortlist for a Head of Business Intelligence. This is a permanent hybrid working position based in Paris and offers a salary of up to €100k depending on your experience and alignment to the role.
We are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence to join a fast growing data team. At the center of data, Advanced Analytics & AI strategy this organisation has a simple goal, to gain deep actionable insights into their data to support the businesses strategic decisions.
As the Head of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions that support decision-making processes across the organisation. You will lead the organisation’s BI roadmap and implementation (in coordination with data and AA/AI strategy and IT programmes/architecture to transfer legacy to future proof solutions) and lead all efforts from the business to drive actionable insights through advanced analytics. This role therefore requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data analytics, and a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
Skills:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analytics/business intelligence, plus proven experience in a BI leadership role overseeing business intelligence, data analytics, or related functions, if possible with knowledge of data warehousing, data visualisation and data governance
- Experience of building powerful dashboards using BI software: Expertise in data analytics and visualisation tools and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP BW, R, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions. Great communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data/technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership, decision making and team management skills, with strong project management skills/ ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. If possible with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams, agile work methods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. If possible experience in coaching/consulting and training for the business, and training platforms (Udacity or similar)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure, ev. AWS).
- Optional: Proven expertise in data modelling, statistical analysis.
