Our client, a prestigious European Agency located in Strasbourg, is looking for a Business Analyst who will provide a thorough analysis of IT functional and non-functional requirements, and business risk analysis, amongst others. These will be further elaborated and be the starting point for the development of digital components, systems, and services in the defined policy areas.
Responsibilities
- Process, interpret, and thoroughly analyse legal texts, business demands, processes, and use cases;
- Interact and align with stakeholders to understand, anticipate, and influence their demand for services;
- Translate business needs and/or opportunities into business and stakeholder requirements;
- Conduct Business Analysis according to BABOK practices applicable in the eu-LISA organisation;
- Organise and participate in meetings and follow up with internal and external stakeholders;
- Gather data, inputs, and information from various sources and combine, structure, and organise them with the aim to analyse and articulate business requirements;Support internal teams to understand the business requirements to further elicit them to functional/ non-functional and technical requirements;
- Conduct elicitation, capture the elicitation outcomes, confirm/compare elicitation results against source information and/or against other elicitation results;
- Analyse the IT functional and non-functional requirements, make sense of the available information and ensure that the project team understands all the details they require;
- Update traceability matrices;
- Analyse & define specifications linked to the integration with other applications and/or technological components;
- Work in collaboration with Enterprise Architect to design models in a modelling tool based on predefined requirements; and
Qualifications
- Substantial experience in Business and IT System analysis, and ability to translate business requirements into IT requirements;
- Strong experience in the use of modelling and design tools in Business or IT projects;
- Extensive knowledge and experience in UML;
- Good knowledge of relational database systems;
- Ability to apply architectural principles to functional solutions and use of model-based representations to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business;
- Exerience in assistance in the testing, the technical training, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting;
- Capacity in writing documents;
- Strong experience in managing stakeholder collaboration;
- Experience and willingness of working in an international/multicultural environment; and
- Adventagious- experience in working in justice domain.
