With a team of 40+ employees, Ossiam manages more than 9bn € and is affiliated to Natixis Investment Managers, one of the world’s largest asset management firms.
Job description:
You will join the Index Solutions portfolio management team, currently comprised of five financial professionals. The main objectives of the team are: (i) performing day-to-day management of the funds (mainly ETFs) and mandates, including all executions; (ii) structuring investment products; and (iii) participating to the creation of rule-based quantitative investment strategies.
Mission:
The successful candidate will operate in the team as a Junior Portfolio Manager and participate in the day-to-day management of Ossiam’s funds.
His main responsibilities will include:
- Daily management of the funds and mandates and related executions (equities, bonds, FXs, etc…): portfolio adjustments linked to rebalancings or subscription/redemption orders (for both physically and synthetically replicated funds), hedging of FX exposure, etc…
- Continuous interaction with the Middle Office team to ensure smooth operations
- Continuous interactions with the main external operational contacts: Authorized Participants, brokers, swap counterparties …
- Daily monitoring of the funds’ exposures and risk indicators through a series of first level controls
- Involvement in the operational setup for new funds/mandates, continuous improvement of trading and portfolio management tools and related processes/procedures
- Involvement in broad fund management related topics
Profile
- Master degree from a major university or engineering school with specialisation in Finance/Asset Management
- First experience in trading/portfolio management, ideally managing fixed-income securities
- Good understanding of portfolio management processes and of the whole operation chain, from order generation to settlement
- Fluent in English
- Motivation, curiosity and strong ability to operate in a team
- Good knowledge of the ETF industry and programming capabilities are a plus
