We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategic development of the goCORE brand, strengthening its market positioning as the key Private Brands in the B2B channel and expanding its product portfolio for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Development of the goCORE Brand- Lead the cross-functional development of goCORE as the primary Private Brands for the B2B channel.
- Build a strong brand that competes with market benchmarks and meets and exceeds the expectations of target customers.
- Build a product portfolio aligned with market demands and expansion opportunities.
- Oversee the portfolio development process, while cross-functional teams, including category management, will handle procurement, supplier negotiations, and market launch.
- Manage the full product lifecycle of goCORE, including market needs analysis and feedback from partners.
- Lead the creation and optimization of goCORE assortment matrix and participate in the creation of the common B2B assortment matrix.
- Develop an assortment strategy based on the Good, Better, Best model to fully meet partner needs.
- Ensure the economic feasibility of matrices to maximize profitability.
- Continuously monitor market trends, customer feedback, and partner requirements to adapt matrices promptly.
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, cataloging and category management teams to successfully integrate new products and categories.
- Manage and develop a product team (2-3 direct FTEs) while coordinating with cross-functional teams in a matrix organizational structure, fostering a collaborative culture and driving process improvements for greater efficiency and impact.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies and enhance partner engagement.
- Leverage data analytics to track product performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends, providing insights to key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies for expanding sales within B2B channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, and create customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and external partners, educating them on product features, benefits, and usage.
- Represent goCORE brand at trade fairs and industry events as part of the AUTODOC team.
Job Requirements & Required Skills:
Experience & Expertise- Experience of 7+ years or more in product/category management, product management or related roles in the automotive or e-commerce industry preferably within B2B sales channels.
- Strong understanding of economic feasibility analysis and profitability optimization.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, including supplier negotiations and go-to-market execution.
- Ability to develop and execute an assortment and private label strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in using data-driven insights to optimize product performance, improve customer satisfaction, and respond to market trends.
- Expertise in demand forecasting and financial modeling to ensure effective product portfolio management.
- Experience in managing and developing a product team.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to foster a collaborative culture.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with sales, purchasing, cataloging, and category management teams to drive process improvements and efficiency.
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies for expanding sales and improving partner engagement.
- Experience in developing customized solutions for partners to drive sales growth.
- Ability to conduct product training sessions for internal teams and external partners, ensuring a deep understanding of product features and benefits.
- Proficiency in using category management, CRM, and data analytics tools to track performance and market trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights to key stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
