TotalEnergies has created a new entity, OneTech, which combines all the corporate departments related to technical issues andR&D at our different segments (Exploration & Production, Refining & Chemical, Marketing & Services and Gas, Renewables & Power). With a 3,400-strong workforce, OneTech is split into three hubs: an Industrial Hub supporting the Company's expansion in gas, renewables, electricity and carbon emissions reduction, a Research & Development Hub which pools all of TotalEnergies' research activities to anticipate the Company's transformation, by giving priority to the low-carbon mix and a Support Hub which provides expertise and technical support to the TotalEnergies affiliates and business units worldwide.
By integrating all the Company's technical and R&D expertise in a single entity, OneTech becomes one of the pillars of TotalEnergies' transformation into a multi energy company.
Activities
TotalEnergies is looking for a Confirmed Gas Treatment Process Engineer within the Gas Treatment team of OneTech's Process division, covering a wide range of activities (development studies, project and operational support or R&D) for all TotalEnergies assets.
You will actively contribute to the transformation of the business and help us achieve our ambition reaching 50Mt/y of LNG sell in 2025; 20TWh/y Biogas capacity in 2030 and our NetZero goal in 2050. You will actively participate in the global firsts.
The position is located in Paris-La Défense.
As a Confirmed Gas Treatment Process Engineer you will:
- Contribute to definition of optimized scheme for future development
- Collaborate with different disciplines within OneTech or operational branches
- Ensure the development of process deliverables necessary for the design of industrial facilities
- Prepare project validation steps, providing support to architects
- Engage with technology providers, clarify, and compare their offers to provide technical recommendations
- Participate in the capitalization of know-how
- Promote process skills, including coaching of less experienced process engineers
- Develop process tools and methods
You will work on topics such as natural gas deacidification, dehydration, CO2 capture, purification and conditioning of all gases, as well as the complete process chain of biogas plants...
Candidate Profile
- You have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, a strong knowledge and experience in process engineering, with at least six years of experience.
- Experience working in gas treatment is not required though this will be an advantage.
