We are looking for a Windchill Technical Lead for a freelance project in Paris, France. The position is Full-Time (5 days p/week) and Hybrid over an initial duration of 5 Months, plus a likelihood of extensions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are also looking for a QA Tester AND Windchill Administrator for the same project
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windchill Technical Lead to join our team in Paris for a challenging and rewarding project. In this role, you will play a critical part in leading the technical aspects of PTC Windchill rehost and upgrade initiatives. Your expertise in Windchill configurations, coupled with your strong problem-solving and communication skills, will be essential to ensure the successful delivery of these projects.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of PTC Windchill rehost and upgrade projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
- Windchill Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Windchill configurations, including customizations, integrations, and workflows.
- Implementation & Deployment: Oversee the successful configuration and deployment of Windchill systems across various environments.
- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Proactively identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to Windchill rehost and upgrade activities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, IT operations, business stakeholders) to achieve project objectives.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in PTC Windchill rehost and upgrade projects.
- Strong understanding of Windchill configurations, including customizations, integrations, and workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windchill rehost and upgrade.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
- Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
PLEASE NOTE: We are also looking for a QA Tester AND Windchill Administrator for the same project, please refer anyone that could be interested in either of these roles too.
