Financial Analyst

We are looking for a short term contract (july 2024 to September 2025) in our Financial Team.

The main tasks will be :

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Monitor quarterly revised forecast process,
• Monitor Budget process,
• Improve Balance Sheet forecasting (especially inventory) and impacts on future margin.
• Build monthly comments against plan/metrics to understand the drivers of our results,

Business Controlling

• Support commercial teams in assessing and reviewing significant commercial contracts,
• Analyze sales price, Volume and Mix effects vs prior years and budget,
• Support commercial teams in developing accurate demand signals and ensure quality of data which support demand planning,

Management Controlling

• Deploy KPI/metrics to support senior-management decision-making process,
• Participate in monthly closing activities (sales reconciliation, commissions, dilution, freight accruals, etc.)
• Review customers/brands contribution margin on a monthly basis
• Review on a regular basis OPEX and identify cost-saving opportunities,
• Review on a regular basis inventory cost, inventory rotation and excess inventory and provide recommendation,
• Drive improvements in DSO/DPO/DIO,
• Participate in building an automated Cash-Flow forecast tool,
• Build a real-time updated Open-to-Buy and improve granularity (per brands, geographies, etc.).

Projects

• Collaborate with Group controlling team to deploy global analysis and approaches,
• Support the strategic plan with financial analysis and recommendation

Skills & Competencies:

• Master or equivalent in Finance
• 2 to 5 years’ experience as a Business Controller or Financial Analyst
• Fluent French & minimum B2 level in English
• Advanced Excel Skills & Power BI proficiency
• Ability to communicate (orally & in writing) in front of multiple stakeholders
• Remote friendly role
• 1 year contract
