Senior Product Applications Engineer

As the semiconductor industry continues to flourish through unprecedented innovation and industry-wide investments, one of our clients is seeking a Senior Product Applications Engineer to join the team in France. This role would be focused on supporting a single customer in Crolles, with additional travel required to support other customers. This role would suit someone with an excellent academic background in a technical field, alongside solid experience in either Applications or Process Engineering.
Salary - €107,000 as a medium point - exactly salary will dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customer to develop applications and process performance on the Laser anneal tool.
- Uphold an excellent working knowledge of laser anneal systems process, hardware and relevant diagnostics; Plan and implement measures to enhance system performance.
- Liaise with service and engineering teams to provide solutions to customer issues.
- Conduct technical presentations to customers.
- Provide on-the-job training and assistance to colleagues, customers and partners.
- Regularly attend training and educational presentations to enhance technical knowledge.
- Regularly check and approve operational quality of system equipment.
Key Requirements
- Degree in a relevant technical field e.g Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering (MSc or PhD desirable).
- Several years of experience in an relevant position e.g Applications Engineering, Process Engineering.
- Understanding of rapid thermal processing (RTP)/implant process is beneficial.
- Experience in customer management is preferred.
- High level of English, both written and spoken.
