About Skyport Space Hub:
Skyport Space Hub is at the forefront of Urban Air Mobility (UAM), focusing on the development of hydrogen-powered drones and vertiports. Our mission is to innovate urban infrastructure through cutting-edge aerospace technologies, in collaboration with top-tier universities and research institutions in Paris-Saclay.
We are currently seeking PhD researchers who are already employed in a Paris-Saclay laboratory to join our team. This opportunity is specifically for those who are deeply involved in relevant research and are looking to contribute their expertise to our ambitious UAM projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Contribute to the design and testing of hydrogen-powered VTOL aircraft, focusing on passenger transport, emergency response, and last-mile delivery applications.
- Structural Engineering: Engage in aerodynamic analysis and propulsion system integration.
- Hydrogen Propulsion: Work on optimizing hydrogen fuel cells for various UAM applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with material scientists, electrical engineers, and IoT specialists to integrate smart sensors and AI technologies.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure designs comply with aerospace regulations and environmental standards.
- Prototype & Testing: Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to ensure safety and performance.
Qualifications:
- PhD Researcher Status: Currently employed in a Paris-Saclay laboratory with a focus on aerospace engineering or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD, CFD, and FEA for aerospace design and analysis.
- Experience: Relevant research experience in drone development, hydrogen propulsion systems, or UAM technologies is preferred.
- Entry-Level Candidates: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with relevant academic projects or internships.

Skyport Space Hub est à la pointe de la Mobilité Aérienne Urbaine (UAM), se concentrant sur le développement de drones à hydrogène et de vertiports. Notre mission est d’innover les infrastructures urbaines grâce à des technologies aérospatiales de pointe, en collaboration avec des universités et institutions de recherche de premier plan dans la région Paris-Saclay.
Nous recherchons actuellement des chercheurs en doctorat déjà employés dans un laboratoire de Paris-Saclay pour rejoindre notre équipe. Cette opportunité est spécifiquement destinée à ceux qui sont profondément impliqués dans des recherches pertinentes et souhaitent contribuer à nos projets ambitieux de UAM.
Responsabilités principales:
- Conception & Développement: Contribuer à la conception et aux tests de véhicules aériens à décollage et atterrissage verticaux (VTOL) alimentés par hydrogène, en se concentrant sur le transport de passagers, la réponse aux urgences et les livraisons du dernier kilomètre.
- Ingénierie Structurelle: Participer à l’analyse aérodynamique et à l’intégration des systèmes de propulsion.
- Propulsion à Hydrogène: Travailler sur l’optimisation des piles à hydrogène pour diverses applications de UAM.
- Collaboration Transversale: Collaborer avec des scientifiques des matériaux, des ingénieurs électriciens et des spécialistes de l'IoT pour intégrer des capteurs intelligents et des technologies d'IA.
- Conformité & Sécurité: Veiller à ce que les conceptions respectent les réglementations aérospatiales et les normes environnementales.
- Prototypage & Tests: Assister au développement et aux tests de prototypes pour garantir leur sécurité et leurs performances.
Qualifications:
- Statut de Chercheur en Doctorat: Actuellement employé dans un laboratoire de Paris-Saclay avec un focus sur l’ingénierie aérospatiale ou des domaines connexes.
- Compétences Techniques: Maîtrise de CAD, CFD, et FEA pour la conception et l’analyse aérospatiales.
- Expérience: Expérience de recherche pertinente en développement de drones, systèmes de propulsion à hydrogène ou technologies UAM est préférable.
- Candidats Débutants: Diplôme de Bachelor ou Master en Ingénierie Aéronautique, Ingénierie Mécanique, ou domaine connexe, avec des projets académiques ou des stages pertinents.
