The mission

My client, an international company is splitting into two different entities. The project will be responsible for managing and executing the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as part of their comprehensive Workplace Separation Program.

This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, and achieving a smooth transition for all users

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any issues or risks that arise
  2. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless migration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of current systems and infrastructure to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Ensure compatibility of all applications and systems with Windows 11, coordinating necessary updates or replacements.
  5. Implement change management strategies to support end-user adoption and minimize resistance to the new operating system.
  6. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure successful project execution.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  9. Conduct post-migration reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
