Your role and responsibilities

The working model for this position is as follows: LinkedIn #hybrid Subsidiary / geographical location: ABB France business area Process Automation divisions Marine & Ports and Measurement and Analytics - Position based in Marseille Working in two divisions on a human scale, in an international B2B environment, you will contribute to the development of sales and projects by sourcing, qualifying and monitoring the quality of our suppli-ers and subcontractors. You will also supervise procurement operations. • Identify and qualify new suppliers/subcontractors in collaboration with the sales and project teams. • Prepares and manages calls for tender for new partners • Analyzes and evaluates bids to determine optimal value • Negotiates and draws up purchase contracts with suppliers/subcontractors with the support of the legal department • Identifies and manages purchasing risks, particularly export control. • Supervises supplier performance (compliance with delivery deadlines, quality, lead times) and resolves performance problems. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with divisional purchasing procedures and directives, in liaison with divisional managers and management control. You'll be joining a high-performance team where you can flourish.

Qualifications for the role

  • Education: Master's degree in purchasing
  • Experience required: At least 5 years' professional experience in a similar position in an interna-tional B&B group Skills
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Your ability to make proposals, take decisions and provide leadership to cross-functional teams in France and other Group countries will make all the difference
  • Regular travel expected in the Paris region and in France Occasional travel abroad
