Infrastructure & Workplace SAP Basis Consultant


10 Years Experience

Hybrid: 3 days on-site

Full Time

Contract Length: 1 year

Location: Lyon (Driving Licence required)

Project Context:


We’re looking for an SAP Basis Consultant for an ERP Clone & Delete Project.

Involving S4/HANA Cloud Instance / hosting services using SAP Basis Consultant expertise.


You will integrate a worldwide team reporting directly to the Infrastructure Design & Build manager.

The Infrastructure & Workplace SAP Basis Consultant role is to participate in the planning, coordination related to the integration of applications and technologies within the organization’s application integration environment.


The Functional:


  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization’s architecture team.
  • Provide integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning.
  • Identify and resolve system integration issues (based on log and monitoring)
  • Develop standards, processes, and documents to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct research into application integration issues and products. If necessary to then troubleshoot interfaces.
  • Where necessary provide a Backups and DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) solution adapted to RPO/RTO (Recovery Point Objective/Recovery Time Objective).


The Technical (and Expected SAP skills):


  • Proven experience in architecting SAP on AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix, Hana & Sybase databases, Solman
  • Proven experience in running SAP Basis activities build and run activities on SAP ECC & BW on both Java & ABAP stacks
  • Strong Unix expertise
  • Proficiency in managing SAP configuration (RFC destinations, ALE, etc…) in addition to controlling refresh operations (HSC, refresh, etc…)
