Syroco is a Climate Tech startup that supports the energy transition of maritime transportation. It provides fleet owners and operators with a weather routing and voyage optimisation platform to improve efficiency and impact of merchant vessels. With innovation and impact being at the core of its strategy, the company was born from the complementary expertise of its founders in the scaling of hypergrowth startups, data and artificial intelligence, naval architecture, extreme sports and offshore racing.
Role Overview
Join us as a Senior Product Manager to lead maritime decarbonisation efforts. Collaborate with our naval engineering and data teams to enhance our digital twin-based solution, that focuses on optimising voyage performance. Your work will drive innovative strategies to reduce the environmental impact of maritime operations.
Syroco's product team consists of specialised squads. Your squad will drive the development of state-of-the-art digital twins in a high-speed scaling context where your impact will be key to the solution's success. As a Senior Product Manager, you will contribute to the strategic roadmap and ensure accurate product positioning as the company scales, driving innovation and maintaining a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Product Vision & Roadmap: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to transform market insights into impactful product features.
- Data-Driven Development: Work with engineering and data teams to leverage onboard data and customer feedback towards asset management excellence.
- Product Lifecycle Leadership: Oversee the entire product lifecycle of your portfolio, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Market & Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct market research and competitor analysis while maintaining clear, regular communication with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management within B2B or tech environments, demonstrating a strong strategic vision and leadership.
- High-Tech Product Proficiency: Proven expertise in managing high-tech products, with strong analytical and technical skills. Management of dynamic assets is a plus.
- Business-Driven Mindset: Experience working in business-driven companies that prioritise a product-centric approach.
- Analytical & Agile Skills: Exceptional ability to use data analytics and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or Shape Up) to inform and drive product decisions.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
