Title: Natural Catastrophes Risk Consultant - Flood

We are currently searching for a skilled and experienced natural catastrophes risk consultant to join our client's team in Paris. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the leading consultancies, Selby Jennings, specializing in project risk management.

Role Description:

As a Natural Catastrophes Risk Consultant - Flood, you will be responsible for assessing flood risks associated with various projects across France. You will collaborate closely with other members of the risk team and provide strategic solutions that minimize potential damage caused by floods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments on flood risks
- Developing effective mitigation strategies
- Collaborating effectively within your own department as well as others involved in each project.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
To apply for this role we require candidates who have experience working specifically on flooding issues or general environmental consulting including disaster response planning and recovery efforts related to natural disasters such as hurricanes or earthquakes etc., Also required qualifications include but not limited;
* A Bachelor's degree from a reputable university preferably in Environmental Science/Engineering,
Geology/Hydrogeology/Civil Engineering /Risk Management
* Fluent language skills (French & English)
* Experience using GIS software programs like ArcGIS/QGIS
