Global Process Manager – Pioneering Innovation in Battery Manufacturing
On behalf of a global leader in battery technology, we are seeking an experienced Global Process Manager to spearhead the discovery and implementation of disruptive manufacturing technologies for next-generation battery factories. This company operates in over 15 countries, with over 15 production sites and over 4,000 employees, delivering world-class batteries and systems that power critical markets across industries.
Your Role:
- Oversee and optimise the full battery cell production process, from electrode assembly and formation and aging
- Develop and implement robust procedures and quality systems to ensure consistent excellence.
- Analyse production data to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, and industrialization teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor engineers and technicians, fostering innovation and professional growth.
- Work with vendors to integrate advanced technologies into production workflows.
- Collaborate with leadership to align technical strategies with business goals.
- Recruit and onboard top talent to grow the team’s capabilities and diversity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
- Expertise: 8+ years in process design or equipment engineering, preferably in lithium-ion battery manufacturing (fewer years considered with an advanced degree).
- Problem-Solving: A track record of driving process improvements, cost savings, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge: Experience with Lean tools, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and quality standards.
- Collaboration: A team player who thrives in dynamic environments and works well with diverse stakeholders.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (additional languages like French are a plus).
