Quantum Measurement EngineerAbout the RoleQuantum Measurement Engineer / Expert required to advance next-generation measurement capabilities for spin-qubit and superconducting (SPC) platforms.This role focuses on delivering high-fidelity qubit readout, time-domain characterisation, and measurement-driven optimisation for rapidly scaling quantum architectures.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and optimisation of qubit measurement schemes across spin-qubit or SPC-based platforms.Design and execution of time-domain experiments: Rabi, Ramsey, echo, state-tomography, and high-speed readout benchmarking.Characterisation and analysis of noise sources, readout fidelity, back-action, decoherence processes, and cryogenic signal pathways.Implementation of measurement automation, data pipelines, and reproducible protocols.Collaboration with device fabrication, control electronics, and architecture teams to improve device-level and system-level performance.Contribution to measurement roadmaps and long-term strategic planning for scalable qubit systems.Requirements: Qubit Measurement Expert – Multi Qubit ExperienceExtensive experience in multi-qubit measurement, control, and calibration on SPC or spin-qubit platforms.Strong publication track record in qubit measurement science, quantum control, or cryogenic device physics.Demonstrated leadership in guiding researchers, shaping measurement strategy, or building measurement teams.Deep understanding of qubit-specific readout techniques: dispersive sensing, reflectometry, charge sensing, RF-SET / RF-QPC, or photonic-assisted readout.Proven ability to bridge measurement theory with practical signal-chain engineering, cryogenic integration, and device-level constraints.Ability to drive measurement innovation in support of scaling from single-qubit to multi-qubit prototypes.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical direction.Requirements: Quantum Measurement Engineer - Single-Qubit ExperienceHands-on experience performing single-qubit measurements on SPC, spin-qubit, or related cryogenic quantum platforms.Familiarity with time-domain characterisation tools such as Rabi oscillations, T₁/T₂ extraction, fast readout, and basic calibration routines.Competence with cryogenic measurement systems, RF instrumentation, and signal-chain troubleshooting.Experience automating measurement routines, data acquisition, and analysis workflows.Strong understanding of noise sources, fidelity limits, and basic cryogenic constraints impacting qubit readout.Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.Reach out to Conor Johnston @SEER to discuss this or other opportunities.
