Deep Learning Scientist for Biology
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with fellow researchers and specialists to create machine learning techniques for computational biology challenges.
- Aid in designing and implementing models, tools, and libraries to enhance research capabilities.
- Optimize neural network algorithms for deployment on supercomputing architectures, leveraging modern parallel computing environments.
- Clearly and effectively communicate experimental results and research discoveries, both internally and externally, through verbal and written presentations.
- Assist in the team’s efforts to publish research findings.
- Facilitate the transfer of foundational research into practical applications by collaborating with the product development team.
Your Profile:
- Ph.D. / MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or Jax.
- Skilled in developing and debugging using Python3 or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with HPC techniques and frameworks (for distributed computing on clusters of CPUs and accelerators).
Nice to haves:
- Computer Vision, or Natural Language Processing experience.
