Are you an experienced Project Engineer ready for your next big challenge? Our client, a renowned leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join their innovative team in Le Havre, France.


Job Title: (Ingénieur Projet Travaux Neufs)

Location: Le Havre, Normandy (Hybrid)

Salary: €50,000 Euros

Language: Fluent English and French

Your Role:

  • Lead Projects: Drive new construction initiatives from concept through to completion, ensuring success at every stage.
  • Collaborate: Work with various departments to define project goals and specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Engineering Studies: Partner with engineering firms to conduct essential studies and assessments.
  • Bid Management: Oversee the bidding process and coordinate with the procurement team to select the best vendors and contractors.
  • Project Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and monitor project timelines, quality, safety, and budget, ensuring all targets are met.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 14 professionals, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project status and achievements, celebrating milestones and successes.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a "Travaux Neuf" (New Works) environment, ideally within industries like agro-alimentary or with major companies such as Total, or in mechanical maintenance.
  • Certifications such as PMP, AGILE, LEAN Green Belt, or Black Belt are advantageous, though not required.


  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and French, with strong communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
  • Educational Background: A generalist engineering diploma from Écoles d'Ingénieurs Généralistes or a Bac+5 (Master’s degree) in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
